Five focus areas. One mission.
Transformative action that empowers persons with disabilities and promotes an inclusive society. Our work is organised around five interconnected pillars, each one advances the rights, dignity and leadership of persons with disabilities across Uganda.

Each pillar is designed with the leadership of persons with disabilities at its centre, moving beyond traditional charity models to rights-based, community-driven change.

- Legal reform campaigns: pushing for full implementation of national and international disability frameworks.
- Policy dialogue: engaging government, civil society and institutions on inclusive policy design.
- Awareness campaigns: challenging stigma in communities, schools, workplaces and media.
- Community-led advocacy: equipping grassroots leaders with tools to influence local decisions.

By investing in leadership from within the disability community, we build the capacity for long-term, sustainable change.
- Leadership cohorts: structured mentorship for emerging leaders with disabilities.
- Peer mentoring: connecting leaders with experienced advocates across the disability community.
- Skills development: public speaking, governance, project management and advocacy skills.
- Representation: supporting persons with disabilities into leadership and decision-making roles.

Inclusive Education & Livelihoods
We develop, implement and support inclusive education and sustainable livelihood programs that create equal opportunities, promote independence, and enhance the socio-economic well-being of persons with disabilities. From accessible learning environments to skills training and economic empowerment, we work so that every person can thrive.
- Inclusive education: supporting schools and families so children with disabilities learn and thrive.
- Skills training: practical, market-relevant skills for employment and self-employment.
- Livelihood support: small grants, cooperatives and income-generating activities.
- Economic empowerment: reducing dependence and increasing voice in household and community decisions.

Civic Participation & Social Change
We facilitate platforms that enhance meaningful civic participation, dialogue and collective action, driving social change and enabling a truly inclusive society. Persons with disabilities must not only be present; they must lead, shape decisions, and influence the communities they live in.
- Community dialogues: safe spaces for persons with disabilities and community leaders to shape priorities.
- Civic education: building awareness of rights, participation and accountability.
- Collective action: supporting grassroots movements and community-led campaigns.
