Where the work meets real life.
Ongoing initiatives that empower persons with disabilities and promote an inclusive society across Uganda. Every project is designed with the leadership of persons with disabilities at its centre.
Paws & Pathways.
Empowering disability-led households in Bakka Village, Wakiso District — through human–animal coexistence, sustainable livestock management and economic self-reliance.
Human–animal coexistence, economic self-reliance.
In many disability-led households in rural Wakiso, livestock is both a livelihood asset and a source of tension with neighbours. Paws & Pathways works with households to build sustainable livestock practices that strengthen coexistence and economic independence.
The project is supported by the Alliance for Human Animal Coexistence (AHAC) and combines community dialogue, practical training, and small-grant support for disability-led households.
