FAQ

Common questions.

Answers to the questions donors ask most.

Is my donation secure?

Yes. All online card and mobile money payments are processed by Pesapal, a trusted payment provider used across East Africa. Pesapal handles your payment details directly. We do not store card information on our website.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. When you donate through our form, a receipt is emailed to you once the payment is confirmed. The receipt includes the amount, date, and a unique reference number. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or email [email protected].

Can I make a recurring donation?

Yes. Recurring gifts are very helpful for long-term planning. Contact us at [email protected] and we will set up a monthly or quarterly arrangement that suits you.

Can I donate from outside Uganda?

Yes. Pesapal supports international cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others). If you prefer a bank transfer from outside Uganda, email us and we will share the appropriate details.

Can I choose where my donation is used?

Yes. Unrestricted gifts allow us to direct resources where they are needed most. If you want to support a specific programme (for example, inclusive education or leadership training), email us before donating and we will confirm how your gift can be allocated.

Can I give in memory of someone?

Yes. Use the dedication field on the donation form, or email us to arrange a memorial gift. We will acknowledge your gift and, if you wish, notify the family of your tribute.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Lamicare DRO Uganda is a registered non-profit in Uganda. Tax treatment depends on your country of residence. Please consult a qualified tax advisor or contact us for documentation that may support a deduction in your jurisdiction.

Every gift moves us forward.

Whether you give once or commit for years, you help build a Uganda where every person with a disability is recognized, valued, and empowered.
